I’m a product designer who makes complicated things feel intuitive, from passkey authentication to merchant and bank portals and data-heavy reporting tools. Today, I’m exploring how AI tools can support the strategic side of product development, along with the way I design and prototype.
Selected work
Three projects from my time at Visa on the Visa Consumer Authentication Service (VCAS) team, which helps banks and merchants around the world verify cardholders, secure online payments and reduce fraud.

SOLO LEAD DESIGNER
Passkeys at checkout: less friction, same protection
Too many cardholders were being stopped at checkout for a second check. I designed an end-to-end passkey flow, covering enrollment, authentication and fallback, and placed enrollment inside the authentication step so it never blocks a purchase.
ISSUER PORTAL · COMPLEX SETTINGS
Issuer groups
Processors could only set up a policy for one bank at a time. I designed issuer groups so they can apply one policy to hundreds of banks in a single step.

Transaction summary
Merchants had to read a dense table to see how much money they’d lost. I redesigned the summary so they see it at a glance, with the detail one click away.

Hi, I’m Sai.
I’m a product designer who’s spent most of my career in fintech. I’m at my best when I can understand the people on the other side of the screen, see the patterns in a messy problem, and turn them into something calm and clear. I care about the small details that build trust for everyone in a transaction, from the banks and merchants behind it to the cardholders making it.
